How To Get Involved This Year: Senior Leaders, Program Team, YL Band

There are tons of ways to get involved with #NWYL this year! If you'd like to be a part of any of these teams, contact a YL leader.(GretchenWendyDrewSimeon, or Kristen

YL Club Band (9-12th grade)
The band is open to all grades and practices a couple times each month. Last year we alternated singers and musicians because we had lots of folks who were awesome.  Right now we have 2 drummers, 1 bass player, a couple female vocals, 2 guitars.  We could use some more male vocals, bass player, electric guitarist, acoustic guitar, mandolin, and anyone who can beat-box.

Program Team (11th-12th grade)
The program team is a new thing for us at #NWYL this year. All Juniors and Seniors are invited to apply. We'll probably pick around 15 folks who will help plan and lead the clubs this year. We need folks to do skits, make videos, edit videos, type in song lyrics, make decorations, choose songs, etc... If you'd like to apply for the Program Team, holla at a leader.  We'll meet once a month with program teams from other schools in Greensboro to plan and prepare.

Senior Leaders (12th grade)
If you have a desire to follow Jesus and reach out to incoming freshmen, we'd love for you to apply to be a Senior Leader. Senior Leaders from all the high schools in Greensboro meet together once a month. You will lead a cabin of freshmen at Rockbridge, start a Campaigners group, and go on a few YL leader retreats during the year. It's a high privilege and great opportunity for leadership! Last year we had 20 senior leaders but this year want to keep that number around 5.  We'd love for seniors that aren't Senior Leaders to be on the Program Team. Let a leader know if you want to apply.

THE FIRST SENIOR LEADER INTEREST MEETING IS THIS SUNDAY NIGHT at 7pm at Susie Fowler's house, 3502 Redington Dr. (By Friendly Shopping Center). Please bring at least one of your parents/guardians with ya! There will be another mtg next Sunday night as well if you can't make it this week.
